ACCESSIBLE EXHIBIT DESIGN

The Solar System Radio Explorer Kiosk (SSREK) is an accessible museum kiosk that engages and teaches visitors about Jupiter and the Sun by learning what their low frequency radio bursts may be telling us about these worlds. The exhibit includes captioning and vibrations (for hearing-impaired visitors) and audio and colorful tactile graphics along the sides and front of the exhibit. The tactile graphics which were designed by You Can Do Astronomy LLC. This exhibit is on display at the Goddard Space Flight Center - Visitor's Center in Greenbelt, MD.
